How to Play

Win It All has two ways to play: Survivor pools, where one wrong pick sends you home, and Confidence pools, where you rank every game by how sure you are. Here's how each works.

Survivor Pools

The goal is simple: be the last player standing.

  1. Pick one team each week to win its game outright. Point spreads don't matter — your team just has to win.
  2. Each team can only be used once per contest. Burn a favorite early and it's off the board for the rest of the season, so plan ahead.
  3. Win and you advance. Lose or tie and you're eliminated.
  4. Deadlines: picks for Tuesday–Saturday games lock five minutes before kickoff. All Sunday and Monday games lock at 12:55 PM ET on Sunday. You can change your pick as often as you like before the deadline.
  5. Forget to pick? Autopick selects the biggest available favorite by point spread on your behalf — never a team you've already used — so a busy week never eliminates you on its own.
  6. Winning the pot: the last player remaining takes the prize. If several players survive to the end of the season — or the final players are eliminated in the same week — the pot is split equally. You must pick winners in at least two separate weeks to be eligible to win; if every player is eliminated before then, the pool is voided and entry fees are refunded.

The complete contest terms are in the official Pool Rules.

Confidence Pools

No eliminations here — every week is a fresh scoreboard, and the boldest accurate picks win.

  1. Pick winners in up to 10 games each week. Even when more games are on the schedule, your slate is 10 — choosing which games make the cut is part of the strategy.
  2. Rank your picks from 1 to 10. 1 is the pick you're most confident in, 10 is your longest shot. Your #1 pick is worth 10 points, your #2 is worth 9, all the way down to 1 point for your #10.
  3. Scoring cuts both ways: a win earns the pick's full value, but a loss or tie subtracts half of it. A missed #1 pick costs you 5 points while a missed #10 costs just half a point — so rank carefully. Overtime counts as a final result, and official league data decides every outcome.
  4. Lock time: each pool shows its weekly lock (Eastern Time), typically kickoff of the first listed game. Edit your picks freely until then; after the lock, all picks are final.
  5. Forget to pick? Autopick builds your slate from the week's biggest favorites, so a busy week never leaves you with an empty scoreboard.
  6. Winning: the highest total after the week's games wins the pool. Tied entries split the prize equally unless the pool card lists a specific tiebreaker, and games postponed past the contest week score zero for every entry.

Full details, including entry limits and fees for each pool, are in the official Confidence Pool Rules.
